We’re the team CTOs call when the platform that got them here stops being enough.

Senior engineers only, working across the Gulf, Europe, and the United States.

“Our best engineers spend half their week keeping infrastructure standing up, and the other half apologising for how little product work got done.”
what we hear on a lot of first calls

This is usually how the conversation starts.

We hear some version of these four things in almost every first call.

The cloud bill
Our infrastructure spend doubled this year, and nobody can point to why, just that turning anything off feels dangerous now.
The AI pilot
It works great in the demo. Then security sends over fourteen questions, and we’re stuck on half of them.
Shipping
Every release takes two people, ninety minutes, and a fair amount of quiet dread that whatever broke in staging shows up in production.
Visibility
I couldn’t tell you with any confidence what my team can actually deliver next quarter, and I’m tired of finding that out the hard way.

What we actually do.

Nine areas we work in regularly, and the tools we tend to reach for. We don’t pick technology to look busy. We pick what already fits the problem.

Platform Engineering

We build the internal platform your engineers actually want to use, instead of the one nobody adopted.

Built with Backstage, Argo CD, Terraform

AI Systems & LLM Engineering

We build AI systems that survive contact with real users and real data, not just a demo.

Built with LangGraph, pgvector, Langfuse

AI Platform & Enablement

We put guardrails around how your organisation uses AI, so it scales past one team’s side project.

Built with a model gateway, MCP, ISO 42001

Cloud Infrastructure & FinOps

We find where your cloud spend stopped matching what you actually use, and fix it without breaking anything on the way.

Built with Karpenter, OpenCost, Graviton

Data & Analytics

We build the data platform that answers the same question the same way twice.

Built with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster

Automation & Integration

We connect systems that were never meant to talk to each other, and make it boring and reliable.

Built with Temporal, Kafka, Debezium

Enterprise Systems & EPMS

We make delivery visible to the people who have to answer for it.

Built with Jira Align, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps

Product Engineering

We build the web or mobile product itself, when that’s what’s actually needed.

Built with SwiftUI, React Native, Next.js

Security & Compliance

We build systems that can stand up to an audit, because we built them assuming one was coming.

Built with SOC 2, ISO 27001, zero-trust

Almost everything starts with an assessment.

Before we propose anything, we spend focused time with the system you already have. The same senior engineers who’d eventually build the fix are the ones doing the read, not a separate sales engineer handing off afterward. We’re specific about what’s broken, what’s actually fine, and what just looks unfamiliar. You keep the findings whether or not you bring us in for what comes next.

  • A findings document.Written plainly, organised by what’s urgent and what can wait.
  • A prioritised plan. What to fix first, and roughly what depends on what.
  • A reference architecture. What the system should look like once it’s done, not just what’s wrong with it now.
  • A walkthrough with the engineer who wrote it.Live, with your team, so nobody’s reading it alone afterward.

How we work.

Only senior engineers touch client work.

There’s no bench of juniors learning on your project. Everyone who works on your system has done this before, more than once, and you’ll meet them before you sign anything. If you want to know who’s actually going to write the code, we can just tell you.

We write down what we need from you, too.

Scope isn’t just what we’re going to deliver. It’s what has to be true on your side for that to happen: access, a decision-maker who can answer questions quickly, whatever it is. We agree on all of it before anyone opens an editor, so nobody’s surprised partway through the build.

Documentation is part of the deliverable, not a courtesy.

We write runbooks as we go, not at the end when everyone’s tired of the project. There’s a thirty-day warranty after handover, and the whole point is that your team should be able to run what we built without needing us in the room.

We’ll say no, and mean it as a favour.

Sometimes what a prospective client needs isn’t what we’re good at, or isn’t a fit for how we work. When that happens we’ll tell you plainly, and point you toward someone who’s a better match. It costs us a project. It’s still the right call.

What’s actually happened when we’ve done this.

60% faster
page loads

Plus a 25% lift in conversion, on the same rebuild.

E-commerce rebuild for a Series B retailer. Measured as LCP at the 75th percentile from real-user monitoring, compared across an eight-week parallel run of the old and new systems.

99.2%

Extraction accuracy, across more than 10,000 documents a day.

AI document processing for a Series A financial services company. Verified against a human-reviewed sample, ninety days into production.

40% lower

Infrastructure cost, with zero downtime getting there.

Cloud migration for a Series B SaaS company. Measured as run-rate against the pre-migration baseline, sustained across two quarters.

What happens after we hand it over.

Most of the time, our job ends when yours can run without us. But some work is genuinely ongoing: cost engineering that never really finishes, evaluating an LLM system as it drifts, keeping a platform reliable once real traffic hits it, or having a senior architect on call a few hours a week. We only bring this up at handover, once you actually know what you’re dealing with, never before.

  • Cost engineering
  • LLM evaluation and monitoring
  • Platform support and reliability
  • A fractional architect, part-time

Support runs on business hours. If you need someone awake at three in the morning, that’s a separate conversation, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something we can do.

How we handle your data.

Your data stays on your own infrastructure. We don’t train models on it, and anything we derive, embeddings, indexes, fine-tuned artifacts, belongs to you, not us.

  • Access is scoped narrowly and expires when the work does
  • Residency available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the EU, and the US
  • We build in a way that supports your compliance programme

We won’t tell you we guarantee compliance, because nobody honest can promise that on your behalf.

Tell us what’s going wrong.

Describe the system, the deadline you’re worried about, or the meeting where nobody had a good answer. A senior engineer will read it and reply, not someone whose job is to book you a call.

Or write directly to support@axionlab.in.
